Faculties
The University of Copenhagen is divided into eight faculties, which are subdivided into departments and research centres. Below you will find links to the faculty websites. Get an overview of all the departments and centres here.
The faculties are located in four campus areas in Copenhagen.

Faculty of Health Sciences
Research and teaching in medical and health sciences, including medicine, public health, dentistry and human biology.

Faculty of Humanities
Research and teaching in the humanities and arts deal with human language, forms of expression, culture, living conditions and history; from Antiquity to the present.

Faculty of Law
In addition to the classical fields of law, the research and study programmes are geared towards increasing internationalisation and new legal disciplines.

Faculty of Life Sciences
Research and 25 university degree programmes within applied life sciences: biotechnology, veterinary medicine, energy and the environment and food and health.

Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Drug research is interdisciplinary by nature. Research and education at the Faculty thus comprise an integration of natural-, health-, social- and technical sciences.

The Faculty is Denmark's largest research and education institution within the natural sciences and performs outstanding basic research and high quality education.

The Faculty conducts research and offers education within the disciplines of Anthropology, Economics, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology.

Research and education in Theology focus on a profound theoretical and practical understanding of Christianity past and present.
