FAQs about Danish Language Courses

I have been admitted to the University of Copenhagen, but I forgot to apply for the three week pre-semester Danish Language course. Can I do that now?
Please request the change to the International Office by sending an e-mail to int-admission@adm.ku.dk. If your change is accepted, you will be offered housing according to your study period. If you change your study period by applying or cancelling the registration for the Danish Language Course, our housing division has to process your housing application once again.

Please be aware that it may not be possible to bring forward your study period if you need to obtain a visa prior to your arrival.

I started studying at the University of Copenhagen last semester, can I participate in the three week pre-semester Danish Language course that begins next semester?
The three week pre-semester Danish Language course is intended as an aid for new students who just arrived to Denmark. It is therefore only possible to follow the pre-semester Danish Language Course before you begin your studies here.

I would like to learn the Danish language during the semester. Is that possible?
Yes we offer semester courses in Danish. Our website on Danish Language Courses has further information.
