Do I have to apply for a residence permit?

I have just applied for a residence permit and I have been told that you can make the process faster by calling the Danish Immigration Service?
The International Office cannot speed up the process for you.

The best you can do to speed up the processing of your residence permit application is to ensure that your application is complete with all the necessary documents - and apply as soon as you receive the admission package.

If the application is complete, the application process can take up to two or three months. If you are worried about not getting your recidence permit in time, please feel free to contact the International Office or contact the Danish Immigration Service directly at +45 35 30 87 50.
