Registration for Courses and Exams

Below you will find an overview of the course and exam registration procedures at the Faculties. The information is just meant as a guideline. There may be updated informaton from the Faculties which has not reached the International Office. Therefore, if you have any doubts or questions, please send an email to the contact persons listed below. Please also use the contact details if you have questions regarding re-examinations.

 

  • Health Sciences

Medicine

Course Registration: Students admitted to Medicine will receive an email from the department with course registration details.
Exam Registraion Deadline: 15 September (Autunm Semester) and 15 February (Spring Semester).

Course Registration Deadline: 1 August (Autumn Semester) and 1 January (Spring Semester).

Course Registration: The procedure varies from one department to another. Please refer to the Faculty information site.
Exam Registration: Please contact the international student advisor in your department upon arrival to enquire about their procedures.

Course Registration: Students admitted to the Faculty receive an email from the Faculty with details about how to register for courses.
Exam Registration: When you register for a course, you automatically register for the exam.

Course Registration: Students admitted to the Faculty receive an email from the Faculty with details about how to register for courses.
Exam Registration: When you register for a course, you automatically register for the exam.

Course Registration Deadline: 1 May (Autumn Semester) and 1 October (Spring Semester).
How: Registration Procedure
Exam Registration Deadline: 1 November (Autumn Semester) and 1 April (Spring Semester).
How: Details about how to register online will be provided to students by the Faculty.

Course Registration Deadline: 10 June (Autumn Semester) and 10 December (Spring Semester).
How: On punkt.ku. However, international students who cannot meet this deadline can send an email to the Faculty Student Services to register for courses.
Exam Registration: When you are registered for a course, you will automatically be registered for the exam.

Anthropology

Economics

Course Registration: The department does not use course registration. Students admitted to the department show up for the first lecture of the course they wish to take. There are a few very popular courses that use course registration. This will be indicated in the course description.
Exam Registration: Please contact the student councellers in the department when you arrive.

Political Science

Course Registration: The department does not use course registration. Students admitted to the department show up for the first lecture of the course they wish to take.

Psychology

Course Registration Deadline: 15 August (Autunm Semester) and 15 January (Spring Semester)

Course Registration:  If you are admitted to the Faculty of Theology or the Centre for African Studies (CAS), you will receive an email from the international coordinator about course registration.
