Tuition Fee and Payment
If you hold a citizenship from outside EU/EEA/Switzerland, you are required to pay tuition fee for your studies at the Faculty of Science.
Tuition fee
Tuition fee for the MSc in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics per semester:
DKK 62,500 ≈ EUR 8,390
Residence permits that will exempt you from paying tuition fees
Payment deadlines
The payment deadlines are:
- 1st semester: 15 April
- 2nd semester: 15 January
- 3rd semester: 15 August
- 4th semester: 15 January
Please note regarding 1st semester tuition fee payment: The tuition fee is not refunded after 1 August. After this date only a failed visa application will result in the refund of your tuition fee.
How to make your payment
The Faculty of Science will send you a request for payment of tuition fee when it is time to pay for your next semester. The e-mail will include a link to our payment portal and instructions on payment methods and how to make the payment.
Scholarships
The Faculty of Science has a very limited number of scholarships to award outstanding non-EU/EEA MSc students.
US Loans
The University of Copenhagen participates in the William D. Ford Direct Loan Program (Direct Loan).
To apply for US Federal loans through the Direct Loan Program, you must be an American student enrolled in a degree-granting program at the University of Copenhagen.
