Sino-Danish Center for Education and Research

The Sino-Danish University Centre (SDC - Sino-Danish Center for Education and Research) is a joint research and education project between eight Danish universities, the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education, the Chinese University University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS ) and the Chinese research institute Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).

The overall aim of SDC is to promote and strengthen collaboration between Danish and Chinese research and education for the benefit of both countries.

The Danish SDC Secretariat is located in Aarhus, while the center will be located in China in the coming Yanqihu Campus near Beijing on UCAS University. The center will be ready in 2014 and will house up to 100 researchers, 300 graduate students and 75 PhD students from the two countries.

SDC launched two master programs in China in September 2012 and in 2013, three more being launched.
