University chaplains
The university chaplains offer free confidential counseling, guidance and individual help to all students at UCPH on personal, study-related, social and existential-related/religious issues.
Students are free to share their personal struggles and concerns without fear of preaching or being judged. Many students find that talking to the university chaplains helps clarify their situation. You are welcome to contact the university chaplains anonymously if you prefer.
The university chaplains also offer baptism and wedding ceremonies. Furthermore, the university chaplains offer social events and activities.
What is a university chaplain?
A university chaplain has a degree in theology and is employed by the Danish National Church. However, you don't have to be Christian or religious to talk to a university chaplain. All conversations are bound by confidentiality, and the chaplains keep no records.
Why should you contact the university chaplains?
As a student at UCPH, you are welcome to contact the university chaplains for all kinds of issues and concerns. They are almost always available – and talking to them is free.
My job is to listen to the students. Some of them feel lonely and isolated. But they are not alone.
