If you are having trouble logging on to the Application Portal or encounter other technical difficulties when applying, please contact indskrivning@hum.ku.dk.
In your email, please describe the problem and attach a screenshot that shows the problem.
If you have problems just before the deadline for applications, it is important that you send your email with the screenshot before the application deadline.
The Application Portal is a nationwide online application system, which is used by most of the universities in Denmark. The server is often quite busy, especially close to the deadline. If you apply close to the deadline, you may encounter problems logging in or completing your application.
If you are unable to send your application before the deadline, your application will not be processed, as this is not considered to be a valid reason for not applying in due time.
Normally, it is not possible to send an application or documentation after the application deadline.
If your delay is due to technical problems, make sure to take screenshots and send them by email to indskrivning@hum.ku.dk with an explanation and documentation that the technical problems arose before the deadline.
If it is a case of exceptional circumstances, such as sudden, serious illness, you can apply for dispensation. The matter must be documented by a doctor’s note or similar.
Exceptional circumstances are matters of a grave nature. The following will therefore not give rise to a dispensation:
- delays
- oversights
- failure to be aware of the deadlines
Please note: You must send your application for dispensation as soon as possible after the deadline for which you are applying for a dispensation.
