New language requirements

From the spring 2026 semester, the language requirements for all fee-paying guest students will be as follows:

• TOEFL iBT (incl. “at home” version): 83 (with a minimum of Reading: 19; Listening: 20; Speaking: 20; Writing: 24)
• IELTS Academic test: 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.5 in each category)
• Cambridge English C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency: minimum score 180
• Students who are enrolled in or have passed an English-taught bachelor or master programme in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK, or USA must submit a copy of their academic transcript as proof of English proficiency.
• Students who have passed an English-taught upper-secondary education in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK, or USA must submit a copy of their academic transcript as proof of English proficiency. 

IMPORTANT

• TOEFL and IELTS results must be valid (i.e., taken within 2 years of the application deadline).
• We do not accept other forms of test, including institutional TOEFL tests (ITP).
• We do not accept TOEFL MyBest scores.
